You can manually update imaginem-shortcodes plugin by deleting 
the imaginem-shortcodes folder in WP plugins folder - that's 
'/wp-content/plugins/imaginem-shortcodes/'.  Use an FTP application 
or delete the plugin via wp-admin. Make sure the folder doesn't 
exist or the plugin won't activate.  Wp-admin will prompt to install 
and activate the plugin once old version is deleted. Install and 
activate to use latest version bundled with theme.
